I started this blog in the Autumn of 2018. It is mainly about my artwork but will also have some musings, poems, and commentary. I live in Bristol, UK, and at the time of writing I mostly work from home, a small apartment in the Harbourside area of town. There are plenty of distractions within a short walk, especially the Tobacco Factory, where I can be found most Sunday evenings enjoying the free live music.
I enjoy working with textiles and this includes dyeing and printing, (mono-print, screen print, digital and relief); quilt making; clothes; dolls; furnishing; and art works.
I also design and make laser-cut models, sometimes make prints, artist’s books, cartoons, and books for children. Some of these may be found on the Home page or in the Gallery.
Spending time with my grandchildren is my great joy. In the summer of 2018 I completed a Master’s degree in Multi-Disciplinary Print Making at the University of the West of England (UWE), a most enjoyable experience spread over three years.
Great course and the most wonderful, talented people, I would strongly recommend this study and it’s associate MA courses in both Fine Art and Design.
